With the ADP2302, I am encountering a problem where the device does not begin operation, does not turn on, about 2% of the time after the power switch is flipped.
The max input is +16.5V and implements the UVLO as described in the datasheet, the EN pin is at +1.50V which is above the max enable voltage of +1.28V. The output is set for ~ +8.3V. Note that touching a probe to the switch node or boost cap will cause it to start up. I am still experimenting with removing the UVLO for the device to power-up with the input voltage.
Has anyone else experienced this type of problem?
