We're looking for power solution for one of our video oriented projects.
This device is powered from +12V battery or from +5V USB (used for software updates and configuration, video section is not powered)
We need +5V for CAN transceivers, +3.3V and +1.8V for all other devices (video processor, ADV7125 DAC, main MCU).
Actually we're using :
2x step down +5V regulators (LM2574) - one for main MCU, second for video section - powered down in deep sleep mode
2x 3.3V LDO regulators (digital, the estimated power consumption is 170mA and 300mA max)
2x 1.8V LDO regulators (digital and analog, the estimated power consumption is 200mA and 250mA max)
Now we need to add an ADV7611 HDMI receiver and USB charging circuit to produce +5V 1.2A max so we can't keep the existing design.
We're looking for a compact (small inductors and capacitors) solution, any advice is welcome
